Sarnia at Erie Preview (Mar. 2/19)
The Sarnia Sting are getting back into the swing of things after getting almost a week off. Tonight, they travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on the Erie Otters. The Sting are seventh in the Western Conference with a record of 25-29-5-2 and 57 points. Erie sits just outside of the playoff picture in ninth place with a 24-31-3-1 record and 52 points.

The Sting have a 2-0-1-0 record against the Otters this season. These teams have had some good games this season, and this game is crucial for playoff positioning. If Sarnia wins, they will be within three points of sixth place and would put a four point gap between themselves and Windsor, who do not play tonight. Erie is looking to get as many points as possible as they are only three points out of a playoff spot. The Sting have struggled on the road this season, going 9-17-3-1. The Otters have a 12-142-2-1 while on home ice.
