2 min read

After a long five-day hiatus, the Sarnia Sting are back in action tonight as they complete their four-game road trip with a stop in Guelph to play the Storm.

The Sting are 22-23-5-2 this season, which puts them in seventh place in the OHL's Western Conference. With a win tonight, they could move into sixth place, as they are tied with the Kitchener Rangers at 51 points. The Guelph Storm are 27-13-6-4 this season, and after making some big trades leading up to the deadline, they are in fourth place in the Western Conference.

Some of those acquisitions by Guelph include Nick Suzuki from Owen Sound and MacKenzie Entwistle from Hamilton, who were both members of Canada's 2019 World Junior team. In 11 games since the trade, Suzuki has scored four goals and 11 assists for 15 points, as well as a plus-nine rating. Entwistle has played in ten games since the trade, and has scored four goals and eight assists for 12 points with the Storm. Guelph also acquired Sean Durzi in the Suzuki trade, and the Los Angeles Kings prospect has played in ten games and has scored five goals and ten assists for 15 points. There are multiple other players who have been acquired by Guelph since the deadline. This team is looking to go deep in the playoffs, and they have the talent to do so. Don't forget about other players who play for Guelph, including Liam Hawel and Nate Schnarr.
