1 min read

Game day! The Sarnia Sting will face off against the Hamilton Bulldogs in the second game of a two-night weekend homestand.

The Sting are 19-22-5-2 this season. They are sixth in the OHL's Western Conference with 45 points. The Bulldogs are 23-21-3-1, and are sixth in the Eastern Conference with 50 points.

This season, these teams have played in one game against each other. On January 5th, Hamilton defeated the Sting 4-3.

The Sting are currently on a three-game losing streak, and have lost nine out of their last ten games. Their last win came on January 18th against Erie. They are currently in a playoff spot, but if they are unable to string some wins together they could see themselves fall down to seventh or eight, or maybe even out of the playoff picture.

On the other hand, the Bulldogs have won three straight games, against Mississauga last night, and then Barrie in Kingston. They lost to Ottawa and Niagara before their current win streak.
