Chris Playfar opened the scoring thirteen minutes and forty-one seconds into the game, with his seventh goal of the season. Curtis Douglas and Louka Henault had the assists.

The Spitfires would carry their one-goal lead into the end of the first period, and were leading in shots 7-5.

Nathan Staois added to the Spits' lead with his fourth tally of the year just three minutes and thirty-one seconds into the second period.

Cole Purboo made it 3-0 for Windsor with his 25th goal of the season, assisted by Jean-Luc Foudy and Will Cuylle.

Just forty-five seconds after Purboo's goal, Calvin Martin broke the shutout with his 12th goal of the season. Assisting on the goal was Alexandre Hogue and Colton Kammerer.

That would be all of the scoring for the rest of the game, with Windsor coming away with a 3-1 win. Colton Incze started for the Spitfires, and saved 17 out of only 18 shots for the win. Cameron Lamour started for the Sting and turned aside 18/21 shots in defeat.
