Sting Make Pair of Trades With Wolves
Over the past forty-eight or so hours, the Sarnia Sting have made two trades with the Sudbury Wolves before the OHL trade deadline.
The first trade, on Wednesday, saw Adam Ruzicka go to the Wolves in exchange for a Sudbury 2020 3rd round draft pick, an Erie 2021 2nd round pick, and a Sudbury 2021 3rd rounder.

Ruzicka was picked in the second round of the 2016 CHL Import Selection by the Sting, and drafted 109th overall in the fourth round by the Calgary Flames in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He was halfway through his third season with the Sting, playing in 35 games this season and scoring 11 goals and 26 assists for 37 points. In his Sting career, Ruzicka has played in 159 games, scoring 72 goals and adding 83 assists for 155 points.
Thank you Adam for everything you have done in Sarnia, and good luck in Sudbury!
On Thursday, the Sting made a second trade with the Wolves, and Sarnia acquired forward Anthony Tabak for an Owen Sound 4th round pick in 2020 and a conditional 2023 draft selection.

Tabak was drafted by the Wolves in the third round of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection. This season, Tabak has played in 34 games, and scored a goal and eight assists for nine points. In his two seasons of OHL experience, he has played in 85 games and has scored seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points.
Tabak will make his Sting debut tonight against the Ottawa 67's.
