Sting Ship Calvas to North Bay
The Sarnia Sting have traded overage defenceman Theo Calvas to the North Bay Battalion in exchange for a North Bay 5th round pick in 2020 and a Sarnia conditional 6th round pick in 2022.

Calvas was traded to Sarnia from the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 2017. He has played in 96 games with the Sting, scoring four goals and twenty-seven assists for thirty-one points. He had 103 penalty minutes last year and was a plus-29, with five points in twelve playoff games. This season, he has an assist through four games. He has yet to be drafted into the NHL.
Calvas is an overager, so he will have finished his OHL career by the end of this year regardless of the team he plays for. He was a valuable member of the Sting blue line. He reached the milestone of 150 career OHL games played in Sarnia's most recent game against Kitchener.
Calvas will make his return to Sarnia on February 22nd, when the North Bay Battalion come to the PASA next.
